When you look at the price alone, most people would think ‘you get what you pay for’. But if you’ve read the product reviews, you won’t be so sure that the big expensive brands are necessarily better.
Although they are all individual cases, they have proved: “big brand does not mean sleep is not bad, more money does not necessarily good quality” still have to say a fair word: non-human problems caused by Best Mattress online damage, is a small probability event. In terms of the overall structure of the mattress, normal use is generally not a problem within 1 to 2 years. The springs inside, in particular, are theoretically not a problem for 10-20 years. However, this is the ideal situation.
A small probability does not mean that it will not happen. What if it does? How can I fix it when I bought it for thousands of dollars? To give consumers peace of mind, brands usually promise a warranty, such as a ’10-year warranty’. But what exactly does this 10-year warranty cover? And how is it honored? The question of warranties is …… very complicated. Here is a quick question and answer session to help dispel a few misconceptions.
Q: Is a 10 year warranty not as good as a 25 year warranty?
A: Not necessarily. It depends on whether the warranty is for springs or what.
-A: Not necessarily.
Q: If the mattress collapses, is it under warranty?
A: Not necessarily. The merchant will first determine “whether it collapsed” and “whether it was caused by man”.
-A: Not necessarily.
Q: How can I tell if it’s man-made? Did you come to my home?
A: Not always. Sometimes you have to pay for the shipping costs and the logistics to return to the factory for testing, whichever is the case.
(Yes, just like you think, once you return to the factory you don’t even have any evidence)
Q: Can I return or exchange any quality problems within the warranty period?
A: Not necessarily. Even if there is a problem, it is usually repaired first, and sometimes you will be given a discounted price to buy a new bed.
Here are 6 of the most familiar mattress brands.
I have made enquiries about each for after-sales issues and the results are below.
The issue of the strong smell is not mentioned.
I searched the internet for news related to ‘mattress collapse’ and it was an eye opener.
Xilinmen collapsed 1 week after arrival, the manufacturer agreed to replace, shops disavowed.
The mattress bought from Yalan’s Tmall shop collapsed in the middle of 1 year of sleeping, the shop thought it was a “human problem” and wanted to replace it, requiring the consumer to bear the shipping and depreciation costs.
The shop insisted that there was no problem with the spring when the mattress was bought for more than 10,000 yuan and had a pit in the middle after 1 year of sleeping. (eventually agreed to return it under the pressure of the reporter’s exposure)
I won’t put up the ones that are not issued by regular media organizations. The three above, all from radio stations, have no doubt about their authenticity.
